Bryan Allen Fierro holds a BA in writing from The University of Colorado and an MFA in fiction from Pacific University in Oregon. He grew up in East Los Angeles and now lives in Anchorage, Alaska where he works as a Firefighter/Paramedic. His short story collection, Dodger Blue Will Fill Your Soul debuted in 2016. His stories have appeared in Copper Nickel and Quarterly West. He is the recipient of the 2013 Poets & Writers Maureen Egen Writers Exchange Award in Fiction. His screenplays, The Royal Aloha Club and Deadbeat Dads were 2017 official selections and finalists in the Wexford Film Festival in Ireland and Oaxaca Film Festival in Mexico. He is the recipient of the 2016 Rasmuson Individual Artist Award in Literary/Script.
